The 2 Big deer hunts..

As most of you know that Joel and i drew out for the posigant unit.. Joel couldn't wait to go.. He headed out wed night for the hunt to start thur morning. To be honest I don't know if he did more fishing with his dad or hunting with my brother.. No one will never know. But any how he came home Sunday night with no luck.. Monday he called me from work and ask if I care if he took tuesday off to hunt the last day. I told him he better go get something for paying that much money for both tags and me not even going.. Well Tues night I get this text of a monster deer.. I was so excited for him and sent it onto my family.. Not but 2 seconds after I sent the picture to my brother he called me and said cozy you are such a dumb crap that is a picture out of a magazine can't you see the writing on the side.. Well while talking to him my mom was trying to beep in to tell me the same thing.. Joel your funny.. But I guess he had me fooled.. But any how he did show up that night with a really nice 4 by 5.. That scored 163.75.. Good job babe.. As for jace for the reg hunt he scored a monster of a deer.. The first weekend we went up and enjoyed the opening day with joel family in annabella. No one had any luck with anything.During that week him and joel went out looking each night. Thur night jace and joel went up right hand canyon looking. They found a really nice buck, but the only thing is jace only had a head shoot. He sighted up pulled the triger and took the one and only shoot he would have and was olny lucky enough to shoot the horn right off the deer..So hunters there is still a one horned deer out there. The last saturday Joel and jace went up around new castle and shoot a little 2 by 3.. They had a great time. Good job boys...

Joel has enjoyed himself taking off and going fishing anytime he could get away without me throwing a fit.. I wish I would have taken more pictures but my family laughs because every time I can almost guess what he is going to say.. " I didn't take a cooler to haul them home in or the big one got off just before I netted it.. We laugh but i am glad he enjoys himself...

I finally got around to get a couple of shoots of my sweet little angel after turning one. It is hard for me to believe that she had turned one already. It seems that they grow way to fast and I hate it. Knowing she is our last we have tried to make her stay a baby as long as we can. The boys and most of all Joel SPOIL her rotten. So rotten she throws a fit everyday Joel leaves to go back to work after lunch. Hudcee loves her daddy.. She has gotten so spoiled he even told himself that he has got to stop giving her everything she wants.. But nothing can change how much we love her.. Labor Day Weekend...

This is one holiday I look forward to. It is our Staheli family weekend at the cabin. This year there was us, dad and mom, trav and Meg, Jessie and her two girls, Orrin and Georgia, Larry and Rita, Ben and Shannon and their 3 kids, and Reese. We pretty much all went up Friday night to Monday Afternoon. We all took 1 meal and prepared it for the whole group. They we all delicious.. Besides that we all made goodies and boy did we all gain a little weight this weekend. Some of them enjoyed the mornings and evenings fishing ( Joel ) while some of them bow hunted. We had horseshoe games, 4wheeler rides and just a lot of setting around the camp fire just visiting telling old time stories... Kids just had fun getting as dirty as they could by making mud pies and playing school. It is just a relax full weekend making memories for our kids to share with theirs..This is one weekend I hope we carry out and share for ever.. Thanks dad for the great place for this to take place... We missed you all that was not able tone there this year...

The boys where pretty excited to be going back to school to see all of their friends.. I really think they were sick of doing chores everyday.. Jace will be going into 8th grade. He is getting almost taller than me. He really enjoys anything to do with horses, riding 4-wheelers, shooting guns he just loves the outdoors. Carter will be going into the 2nd grade.. He is also getting to big. He has just enjoyed playing with his friends every sec. of the day. He also loves the out doors. A couple of weeks ago Joel took the two boys for the father and sons outing he does with his dad and brothers up on Monroe mountain.. They all enjoyed it.. and caught a ton of fish.. A little about hudcyn she has been lost without the boys bugging her every sec of the day. She will go to the top of the stairs and yell down for the boys all day.. She Is now standing up in the middle of the floor by herself but still has not taken her first step.. Joel has taught her to say I love daddy.. It is stink in cute. Even though we know who she really loves deep down inside more.. Hee hee. She still only has her 2 bottom teeth. And is getting sassier than ever.. Joel has just enjoyed the summer fishing when ever he could get away.. As far as me I have just enjoyed my kids.. I love you all

Well she turned one.. I tried to hold it off as long as possible but there was no getting around her turning 1 and getting big...One year ago this was one of the best days of my life.. My baby girl arrived. Hudcyn could not be loved more than she is. In fact I think she gets sick of the boys always loving on her... We celebrated her birthday in lollipops and poka dots. My parents, Jon and Jessie and kids, and Scott and Sandy were able to join us for the big day..We had a big dinner then had ice cream and cake.. Hudcyn was not quite sure about digging into her cake. But as far as the gifts she loved opening presents. Later that night we also had a ton of fireworks to let off. When it was all said and done she was very spoiled that day.. We love her so much and she is the cutest thing ever.. She still only has her two bottom teeth and is not walking. She will pull herself up to things so it won't be long.. I thing I will always love it that she still is a cuddle bug. Happy Birthday Baby Girl.... We love you...

The 24th of July

This is one of the the best holidays there is. This year we went to Big Enterprise to celebrate.. We ended up taking out boat out for the weekend. The boys enjoyed the 3 nights of the rodeo. Saturday morning Joel got bright and early and went fishing with his brother and dad. The rest of us was ready bright and early for the tradition parade. Another year ending up with a big bag of candy. Later that day Joel and I loaded up the kids and headed to the Enterprise res for a day of fun in the water.. I was so excited it had been over a year for me in the boat and the first time for our little hudcee bear. Hudcyn and I were the first in the water and the first on the tube.. She loved it..... She was dancing and signing and having the time of her life.. After the boys seen that we were having fun they decided it was their turn.. Jaces friend makray carter was able to join was for the weekend.. But it was nice just to be able to spend the day on the water with my little family.. That evening we went and enjoyed the rodeo with Joel side of the family. What a weekend.. Love, family time, and building memories....

My mom the kids and I loaded up wed. night after i finished a long day of nails at 7:00pm and headed out for the long 10 hr drive. I first off have to tell ya a little funny story. We went up over page and through flagstaff on our way there. I had a couple of people tell me don't hit any drunken Indians on your way. Carter happened to hear them and he is my paranoid child.. He was so funny he would not fall a sleep till he asked."MOM are we were out of the INDIAN ZONE... I said yes just lay back and go to sleep..My mom and I laughed so hard for the next 5 hrs.. We all had a great time. We went to the zoo feed the giraffes and had a great picnic. Annie had a pool set up in her back Yard the kids loved including hudcyn. The kids put a singing talent show together for us, they painted rocks,and played at the park down the street.. Funny story Annie thought she would relive childhood and put on a pair of Rollerblades to race carter on his skates and total wrecked and eat rocks.. We also had a little Birthday party for hudcyn and the kids had fun decorating their own cupcakes. None of us wanted to leave we miss their little family so much and wished they lived closer. Thank you for the great time. We love you all so much....

This was the same evening Joel and carter had gone on there airplane ride. Jace was spending time with his dad Dave in St. George so Hudcyn and I rode out to my mom for the night.. I took these pictures in the front and back of my parents home. First off I love my dad garden every year. I know for a fact he has one of the prettiest gardens in Enterprise. He funny at nights he sets out there for hours with his dog i think to see if he can see it grow. He is alot like my grandma staheli was. She always had the prettiest flowers and spent alot of time in her yard. The Rainbow that evening was so pretty. It was a double one but my camera would not let me capture it all. The sunset for the last couple of evening have been unbelievable.. I love spending time at my moms. We had a great time staying up till 2:30 in the morning looking at old photos of us as kids. There is nothing better than to be home and know we live on a safe and free country. Happy JULY to EVERYONE...

Carter wish came true...

All carter wanted for his last birthday was either to ride on a big plane or a REAL 100.00 dollar bill. Well the plane ride came true. Carter was on cloud 9 all day he about drove me crazy. He and i thought 5:00 pm would never come. They ended up flying up to SLC and tom terry picked them up at the airport. They spent the night and enjoyed Saturday with tom and his little boy going bowling and to the movie cars 2. That evening tom took them back to the airport to fly back home. Joel said it was funny they got seated on the plane and carter turned to him and asked "dad what if this plane crashes" Joel said bud it's not going to so enjoy the ride. Another funny thing they arrived up to the SLC airport and as carter was getting off he seen the bigger planes and said " wait dad when am i going to be able to ride one of those BIG planes".. after seeing the planes at that airport he didn't think cedar plane was very big.... LOL I am glad his dreams came true.

At the cabin for the 4th of July

Tree cleaning, fishing, playing cards, getting dirty,and even going to a yard sale we did it all. It was nice to have most of the family together for the holiday..We all worked very hard for 3 days straight to get the place cleaned up looking better than the last cabin post i made..The kids love getting together at the cabin to just get dirty and run wild. They were able to find Horne toads, Caterpillar nest, and make mud pies.. The guys were able to escape and go fishing to relax. We always have great food and cant get away without a late night card game.. I cant go into details about the nick names we all had after it was over but i did post the score so that jumping jonny would never forget i won him 1 more time. Hee Hee we also learned that Joel is also a bad loser that throws his cards...We had a great time.. There is nothing better than getting together to build memories.. Monday July 4Th we all headed off the mountain. Joel, the kids and I rode up paragonah and enjoyed the afternoon fishing. If you look close to carter picture you can tell he didn't get alot of fishing done.. Then we wondered home for the great night of fireworks... Happy 4Th of July everyone..

Nothing much has gone on in the Sanderson home.. Just getting older by the minute. Hudcyn is 11 months old and just gets into anything and everything she wants. She is a busy little girl. She just got her second tooth. She has learned to stand herself up to things and she loves to read books. She has learned to tell you what the cow and monkeys say. It is the cutest thing ever. She has been the highlight of our life. As far as Carter he is just getting older and not really needing me to do anything for him anymore.. He has been having a great summer. He was rewarded at the end of school for being such a great student. He Prize he asked for was a pair of skates not blades.. Sense then he has been out to the new skating place here in cedar and wants to go back every day. He has become a good little skater.. Jace, WOW he has grown. He is now almost taller than me. I swear I buy him pants and the next month they are two short. He also was rewarded at the end of the school year for once again getting a 4.0 all year long. The prize he was able to get was a new hand gun. Boy was he excited.. He has been loving summer hanging out with friends and GIRLS (scary) and fishing with his dad.. I just hope my kids know how much I love them. They are light of my life.. I just wish they didn't have to grow up this fast.. I never want to think about them all leaving my home someday to make a family of their own.. I love you little monkeys... Love mom

Cabin Time

Fun but very depressing. As we arrived to the cabin for the first time this year we found alot of trees down. We do have to say we were very lucky to not have as much damage from the wicked ice snow wind storm as alot of people did.. When the guys went up back on Jan 1st to pull all the trees off that had fallen on the cabin we had about 20 that had fallen. We suffered just some bent tin. Thank goodness.. The cabin next to us had a tree that had gone through his roof. There were decks taken out, big windows taken out. Trees down through cabins. There was just alot of damaged everywhere.. we just enjoyed the evening clear enough room in the drive way for us to park and removing the 2 inches of water in the basement we dont know where it is coming from.. thinking what a mess we had to come back to and clean..

Wow how time flies when you don't want it to.. I hate that my kids have to get any older.. I almost cry about it every day... I don't ever want to think about them leaving and going out on their own.. Well this little monkey is getting a mind of her own. She can get mad. Her first words besides the mama and dada was- who's that. Yes it is kind of crazy but from he time she started to know what my i pad was i would get on my blog and i would say to her every time "whos that hudcee who that" as she would be looking at pictures of her carter and jace..Boy is she mobile.. and loves to be the number one vaccum in our home.. We still would not trade her for anything.. We love her to peices.

The trip i have been waiting for for a long time. Joel and i went to cabo for our 10 yr anniversary with a set of our friends. At the first i was not sure about leaving me sweet baby that still needs her mommy way to much. But after calling home a time or two to check on the kids and my mom telling me hudcyn didn't even miss me i was OK. I just cant put the trip in words. I had the time of me life just needing to worry about myself. We had a great time zip lining, trips to the spa, guys fishing trip, riding the submarine to see the tropical fish and just hanging out with two of the funnest people we know eating ALOT of salsa and chips. I loved every minute of it just being Joel and I. Thank you babe for the trip to remember.. I love you alot..

Mothers Day

This mothers day we went out to Enterprise for the weekend.. Saturday morning the boys went off fishing while the girl went yard selling bright and early that morning.. That evening we all set around and played a little cards. well you know jon could not go home till he was winning the game (I mean winning me) LOL.. Sunday we went to church and then had a great BBqu with Jessie family, Trav and Meg, Dad and Mom, and of course us.. I just want to take a min and tell me mom thanks for the things she has taught me through out life and she is the best mom and grandma anyone could ever ask for.. I just want to tell my kids that i am the luckest mom in the world for having such sweet and caring kids that make me not only MAD but make me laugh hard.

Hudcyn just getting bigger and bigger. I want to freeze her in time. I love this age with babies. She has become a little shy when it comes to letting just any one hold her.. And i am proud to say she loves her mommy.. She can set up on her own and is just about to crawl. She will get up on all 4's and rock back and forth. She did take about 2 crawls the other day. She has been running a low grade fever for the past couple of days trying to get her first tooth on top of an ear infection. Poor baby but she is just as happy as can be.. We love you baby girl. She is one cute little chuncky monkey.

Easter!

Bring on all the great food and exspecially the CANDY.... This year we loaded up and spent the Easter weekend up st Joel parents. Saturday morning when we got up it was raining.. We were not happy but through out the day it cleared up enough for Janette to have her kid and adult Easter egg hunt.. between her and Joel sister Shelly we had about $250.00 dollars hidden in eggs with lots of candy.. Pam and i butted our way to the first of the line and were the first ones out gather eggs. but needless to say we were the 2 that found the least amount of money. (i guess that what we get for trying to peek and see where she was hiding them. The kids had a ball. After the egg hunt was over we had a great dinner together and played cards all hours of the night.. The kids could hardly sleep knowing the Easter bunny was coming the next morning. Sure enough he found them. Thanks for the great time..Happy Easter.

I just want to cry every time she turns another month.. Hudcyn has started to get the cutest personality.. She also has a little spit fire in her to..She always gets what she wants from EVERYBODY.. She really has her daddy's number. I just set back and laugh when he tries to put her down for naps. She will only cry when he lays her down and he can only stand it for about 5 sec and he is back in there getting her out and holding her till she falls to sleep... He is the best dad any one could ever want...This month a also took her in for her 6 months shots. She weigh a little over 17 pounds. On top of the shots i was really mean and we pierced her ears. If i would have known that she would have cried that hard i would have never in this life time done it.. But boy do they look cute.

Wow how time flies. It is kind of scary thinking i have a teenager. Watch out girls this kid is one special dude.. He is a great help around the house exspecially with that cute little princess he totally adores.. He has kept a 4.0 for 6th and 7th grade.. Annie and her two kids where able to come spend a couple of days in Enterprise. We all love when they come because we don't get to see them very often. While they were here we celebrated Jaxon 3rd birthday.. The kids had a great time playing in the snow building snowman's and just being together staying up late playing. Us adults on the other hand played cards all weekend. Let me just say JON cant stop playing till he wins so that should explain why we were up till 3 in the morning.. He finally gave up.. I did let him win ONE! game just so he would play it again... love ya Jon hee hee.. We had a great BBQ with yummy food.. I just cant get enough family time ex specially when we are all there..

Hudcyn is not stay my baby. With in this last month she has learned to do many things. Around feb 10th she learned to click her tounge. It is the cutest thing ever we cant get her to be quite. Feb 13th she set up for the first time real good.. She loves the fact that she can set and see everything that is going on. She ran a fever this last week for 2 days.. Dont have a clue to waht was wrong other than maybe getting teeth coming down.. We all still cant get enough of her.. She is the sparkle in everyone eyes.. We love you baby girl.

My baby is getting so big so fast... I cant believe she is 6 months already.. Hudcyn is getting the cutest personality.. She is so happy all the time. I have to say it makes me happy she loves to cuddle. She has started to roll over and likes it till she gets stuck. It is funny i have started feeding her foods. She loves her veg but when it comes to eating her fruits she clamps those lips shut as hard as she can. i have had to mix her fruits with her cereal at nights... funny little girl. She has been pretty healthy thank goodness. She really enjoys her brothers to walk through the door after school. I love that she is a happy and good all around baby.. She is a keeper... and NOT spoiled by any means.. We all cant get enough of kissing those cheeks..

He informed me that all he wanted for his birthday and either a REAL $100.00 dollar bill (and it needs to be real mom) or a airplane ride.. He just wanted him and his dad to just fly to slc and back (thats all mom whats the big deal.) ... He keeps us on our toes and i think always will... He had a great birthday. We as a family went out to chilli's and ate that night.. The weekend that followed we went to enterprise and held a birthday bash for him and uncle Jon at my moms. We all fixed a great dinner and had a fun family time playing games and eating cake.. WE love you carter and hope you had a Happy Birthday..

It was time for our annual new years eve party.. We all gather over at the spencers home for a great evening... We all just brought a couple of snacks to share with everyone..and Of course we had to hold our famous game of texas holdem.. and the winner was ME..... The kids had fun playing together and playing the wii.. They all held out till midnight and even till about 1:30... We had a ball thanks for the great evening we all shared.... I just wanted to take a minute and tell you a little about each one of you right now... Jace is doing awesome in school. He has manage to keep a 4.0 so far this year and his goal is to pass 7 th grade with a 4.0 all year.. Good luck i hope you do it. He is growing so fast. He will be turning 13 this march. He loves the out doors and spending time just doodling with things.. Carter bug is turning 7 tomorrow and is so excited.. His only 2 request for his birthday are a 100.00 dollar bill or a ride in an airplane.. He said " mom i mean a real 100.00 dollar bill." Carter is doing great in school. He loves to know he is learning how to read and has spelling test that i pay him a dollar if he get a hundred percent.. He loves playing school with his friends and also loves the out doors... And then their is our little hudcyn she will be turning 6 months at the end of this month. She has been the sparkle in everyone eyes around here... She loves the sound of her brother voices when getting home from school and exspecially her daddys when he gets home from work... She rolled over for the first time on Thur. Jan 6th.... I just want my little ones to know how much i love them and always will...

Hudcyn is growing way to fast.. It brings tears to my eyes.. She has been pretty healthy. She had a double ear infection the week before Christmas. She weighs 14.6 and is average in everything.. Joel said to me the other day " I could kiss and squeeze those cheeks all day long." That is no joke i LOVE the days that i can just hold and love on her all day...

Santa found us.. We went out and looked at the Christmas lights Christmas eve.. The boys wanted to get home to get tuck in bed for the big bearded guy to come visit. They fell fast asleep. The next morning my brother had called at 5:30 to see if we were awake.. I bet him my boys would not be awake till around 7 and sure enough we were all woken up with a pounding on the door by grandma and grandpa staheli... As we entered the room the boys found to their surprise Santa did come. BUT he did leave bubba a lump of coal to just warn him to be extra nice this next year sense he had been on naughty watch.. We unwrapped present and then had breakfast. Later on in the morning we tried to ride up to the cabin to check on it but the roads were closed because of all the snow we had received.. It was a weird Christmas because we never made it to the cabin as a family.. But hopefully next year. Later that evening we loaded up and headed up to Joel parents for the night to see what they had gotten and visit.. I love Christmas. Family means the world to me and I love everyone that makes it special....

Saturday afternoon we headed up north for Joel family party.. The boys could not wait to go ice skating.. We ran by Joel's grandma Jennie party. After the party Joel's bro and sister's and families checked into our hotel rooms and headed off to ice skate.. Wow did they have fun. After that we all grab something to eat and back to the hotel to swim till midnight.. They always have a great time getting together with their cousins...

Saturday morning we were getting ready to head up north for the Sanderson Christmas party. Hudcyn had not felt good for a day or so and started coughing so bad she could not catch her breath.. It scared me to death. I told Joel i was not going anywhere till i knew what was wrong with her. We took her over to the emergency room and they gave us the bad news that she had double ear infection and the cough was in her upper respiratory.. They watched her oxygen gave her a shot and put her on med... Poor baby i hate when my babies are sick...

Friday night we ran out the Staheli Christmas party.. We had a ball we ate a great meal that everyone pitched in on and played a couple of fun games.. Can i say i have never had funner than dressing my little girl. I could dress her 20 time a day and put the cute little flowers in her hair.. Hudcyn is getting the cutest personality. She is growing up way to fast.. Her little eye light up when she hears her brother walk through the door after school, and ex specially when her daddy walks in after work.. She is staring to pull her Binky out of her mouth but cant quit figure out how to get it back in. She is losing all of her pretty brown hair.. But she still has her pretty blue eyes. Thanksgiving Weekend

The best time of the year. I love this time of year because it is family time over and over.. Thursday morning we got early and headed out to my mom house this year. We gathered with my whole family (except for annie) and grandma beryl.. There could not be anything better than walking in and smelling yummy turkey cooking.. We gather around the table later on into the day to eat a great meal. After eating we had a great time playing farkle with one another. That evening us girls deceided to leave at 10:00pm and hit the black friday shopping.. All i can say is WOW.. Not only was it cold there were crazy people all over.. We hit the couple of stores and headed home at about 1:30 that night. The next morning the guys headed out early to look for deer. While they were gone we deceided we would head back down and do a little more shopping.. We left before the guys could tell us we could not go... Jessie, meg, mom,I and the 2 babys shopped all day... We had the time of our lives..

This year we started off early and had a great party with out friends playing card Friday night.... You would not believe but it was out of me and clampet to be the winners and win the money.. I just have to say we are the first ones to buy back in and usually the first one out... But he won poor me... Saturday morning Joel got up bright and early to get some fishing in at Navajo.. BUR BUR but nothing stops him.. That night we got the kids dressed up and did a little trick or treating. Jace was a cowboy, Carter was jack sparrow and my little hudcyn was just dressed in Halloween spirit...After while we came home to Joel cooking us a juicy steak. Carter didn't want to stop.. He just wanted to keep on knocking....Sunday after church we got together with the Spencer's and had a wonderful prime rib dinner.. Thanks clampet it tasted great... We loaded up and headed out for the big annual deer hunt. This year we ended up staying down here. We ended out west of Enterprise near Wheat grass. It was our little family, grandpa and grandma Sanderson, Spencer's family, and Joel uncle delray, Shawn, and river.. between the camp think he had 5 tags. You know the first night is setting around the camp fire making a plan to where they are all going.. Jace was so stoke. That morning they didn't bring back a thing, but they had seen a really nice one. Spencer had taken a couple of far shoots but no luck.. That evening they all headed back out to see if they could jump that deer. They weren't gone for more than a hour and back came big Joel and Spencer to grab a 4 wheeler.. Big joel jumped out with a big smile and asked which one of us mothers wanted to smile... Well i was the mom that was smiling. Jace had gotten his deer.. I have never seen a boy so happy and excited in his whole life... He still has a smile on his face from ear to ear.. Congrats to you boy... He shoot a 4 by 5 with a 26.5 inch spread.. We all had a great time as we always do with great food..

We loaded and headed out to Annebella for the weekend.. Joel and his dad went fishing and grandma took all the kids that could make it to the pumpkin patch to pick them a pumpkin and ride the hay ride... Thay all loved it. When they got home she set up tables for them all to carved their pumpkin... They love going up there because grandma spoils them with lots of junk to eat... and things to do...

Joel and I took the kids to the zoo.. Our friends the Spencer's came alone and tom terry and his family meet us up there also.. The kids had a ball, carter could not wait to see the monkeys. I told him i was going to leave him up there with them... The weather was great to take the baby out in... We had a great day.... It could not have been better. We checked into the room and went to a nice steak dinner at the Texas road house.. The kids could not wait to get back and go swimming.. I don't know what it is but my kids act like we never stay in a motel... They are in heaven.... Just wanted to thank our friends for making it such a great time... Cant wait to get together again...

How time flies when you don't want it to.. I am a mom that wishes my kids would freeze in time and stop growing right now.. Jace is doing great in school and is the best help with hudcyn.. She loves him to pieces.. Carter is just full of it. I love having him around to make me laugh out loud everyday with the stories he tells. He is doing great in school..And my sweet little girl that isn't spoiled already ha ha... I just want to squeeze her tighter than i should.. Hudcyn has brought so much love into our little home... My kids still cant get enough of her.. It is crazy but you can just see her little eye's light up when the kids come through the doors after school...Hudcyn is smiling and cooing so cute...We love her very much...I love all my kids so much and would not want to live a day with out them...

Friday we headed up to Joel parents to go out Saturday and help get the a load of wood for the winter.. Spencer family, Us, Chase and his wife, Joel and Janette loaded up early Saturday morning and headed up the mountain. It was a fun trip. i think the kids enjoyed playing more than helping but i cant say much because i held the baby pretty much the whole time. But the others got her done... Grandma jet had packed us all a lunch and drinks. We had a great time...

I have to start off by saying this was one of the BEST labor day weekends we have had, because my sister Annie and her two kids were here to enjoy it with us.... We loaded up and headed to meet everyone at the cabin for a fun filled weekend.. All my family (except Erich) was there, Orrin's family, Larry and Rita and Rulon and some of his family. We all took a meal and planed it for everyone and boy was it all yummy, road 4 wheelers, fished, and just had the time of our lives.. I love getting together with everyone. The kids had a great time catching horny toads and riding 4 wheelers ( they even taught jaydy how to drive.) I just want to thank everyone for such a great weekend. I love being with family... and wished it never had to end.

Well it is time again to start school. Jace now going into 7th grade and carter starting all day 1st grade...I cried just a little to think how time has gone to fast..I want my kids to stay little but it is a little to late for that.. They were way excited to go. Carter's favorite part about school is he gets 3 recesses. Jace's favorite part about school is all of it...Carter teacher this year is Mrs. Griffith.
Lets hope this school year goes as great as last year. (except for the broken leg jace). As far as the sweet little hudcyn goes she is already growing faster than i want her to.. She has added alot of joy and happiness to our family. The boys and her daddy cant wait to give her kisses when they get home for the day. It is a big change around here but we love her to pieces...

I thought the day would never come we have been waiting for for 5 yrs. It had to be one of the best days of my life. It is hard holding back the tears thinking about it..It has been a great pregnancy up to the end. At the end we had a little scare with high blood pressure that put me down for a couple of day, and then having to have her 2 week early. But nothing could feel better than having a little healthy baby and having the doc say it a little girl... I have said all a long i have waited a boy but down inside i was hoping for a girl.. I just set and hold her thanking the man up above for the sweet spirit he has trusted me to have the chance to raise.. She is such a good little baby. Even though she looks just like her daddy i would not give her up for nothing.. The boys cant keep their hands off of her.. I am sure she will be spoiled with lots of loves and kisses.. The name we have given her is Hudcyn Joeli Sanderson. She weight 7 lbs. and 4 oz. with chubby little checks, and a little black hair... I am Thankful to be able to be a mom of 3 great kids....

This is one of the funnest weekends everyone wait for.. This year not much happened. I was on bed rest. We decided to ride to enterprise for the weekend so they once again could enjoy the parade and lake. While i was bossed by my mom to stay in bed off my feet.. Saturday morning we attended the parade and then they had a great time at the lake with the boat. That evening Jessie and Jon took the kids and attended the rodeo.. They had a ball.

Nothing much has happened in our little world.. Jace has been gone to scout camp at thunder ridge for the week. Wow do i realize what a big help he is around the house.. Me just wanting to have this little one so life can get back normal. As far a Joel all i need to say is FISHING..... Joel and carter have enjoyed the fishing pond/little res they have open at the Rex center area.. Joel took carter out in jace float tube and they had a ball catching fish.. There is just one bad thing. That means we have to buy another tube... He was able to catch a couple of small mouth bass, a good sized cat fish and rainbow trout..Jace was able to go fishing with freinds when he got home.. It is quit a fun little outing..

Friday night we headed up to the cabin for the night. The guys had big plans to all go fishing the next morning at pang.. They caught some of the best fish they have caught this summer. We relaxed, played a couple of games of horse shoes and rode the 4-wheelers. That evening we BBQ the fish and had a great night. Sunday after church we loaded up the boat and headed out to enterprise to celebrate the 4Th on Monday. The boys could not wait.. Sunday evening the guys all decided to head to gun lock to do a all night cat fishing party.. Well they were back by midnight. NO luck... Monday morning Joel the boys, my dad , Jon and my my headed to enterprise res.. They had a ball riding the tube knee boards and swimming... Later that afternoon Spencer and his boy joined them to have fun... That night we headed back to cedar to have a BBQ with friends. The food was great. We enjoyed the rest of the evening by doing fireworks and watching cedar city fire work show.. Happy 4Th to you all.

Joel and I wanted to take the kids on a little summer vac before we had the new little one.. We knew we could not go far so we planned a trip to heber to ride the train. Once again we didn't tel the boys it was all a surprise to them.. We loaded up Friday night and stayed in heber at the holiday express..The kids enjoyed swimming that night.. The next day we arrived at the train station the boys were way excited..I love surprising them. After the 3 hr train ride down through the Provo canyons. We checked into our room for the 2 night. This night we reserved a 2 room cabin at the bottom of the lake Jordan dam. The boys loved the bunk beds even if they fought who was going to sleep on the top.. That afternoon we wondering on into park city to do a little school shopping and then to the alpine slides. I couldn't them off that. We will go back for sure so i can ride them to.. It is always fun making memories and having a great time together as a little family.. We love you boys. On our way home we ended up going through Annabella and visiting with Joel's family. His sister Shawna was in town it was great to see them...

Father's Day Weekend...

Saturday we got up bright and early to head out to new castle for Joel to do a little fishing..The morning didn't go so well the pick up would not start.. Finally after getting it started we arrive at the res around 8:30.. He fished and did well after that we headed to enterprise and had a relaxing afternoon while the kids played in the pool. That evening the guys of course got ready to go back out fishing but what could we do it was fathers day weekend.... Trav, dad, and my two boys fished from the boat, Joel was in his float tube, and the rest of us we on shore... We cooked hot dogs and smores..That next day after church we had a great and wonderful tasting BBQ.. It was fun having everyone there. except we did miss Annie and her family..I just want to take a min and tell Joel what a great dad he is to our boys. I could not ask for better.. and also thanks to my dad for all he has done for me in my life... I love you both...

What was i thinking when i told my kids they could get a new dog if their dad said yes.... Was i stupid of course he would say yes because when does he ever says no... New puppy, New Baby, heaven help us ALL... I do have to say the boys have done nothing but loved it to death. They named him patch. Last weekend Trav, meg and dad and mom rode over to cedar for the day.. That evening they decided they all wanted to go fishing again. We loaded up and meet everyone out at the New castle res. Friday night Joel, I and the boys headed out to Enterprise for the weekend. That evening we hung out at Joel brother and had a BBQ with them and Joel's parents. Saturday morning i attended one of the greatest ladies in enterprise funeral Suzy Randall.. It was a great funeral.. That evening we all attended jaren baptism ( Spencer son). It was a great day for him. Sunday we attended church. Monday we told the boys we would do what ever they wanted to do. Jace wanted to go hunting and carter wanted to go fishing so we did. We rode out and meet up with Spencer for the day and did a little hunting chiselers and them later that day meet up with Jon and Jessie and family and did a little fishing at new castle res.. The boys had a great time...

First off jace has been doing great in baseball.. He only has one more game and them onto the tour. My mom made it through her shoulder operation and now has a slow recovering. We all didn't realize how much we depend on her till now. We love you and wish you better.. As far as the rest of us we are doing great. I am just getting bigger day by day waiting to have the little one, Joel just thinks her needs to be fishing if he is not at work. We were able to attened carter's year end and listen to him sing a couple of songs with his kindergarten class. I loved listening to him. I was funny before we arrived he said mom i just want you to know that some of the song embarrass me to sing.. I started laughing.. But he did great. I still cant believe jace just finished 6 grade with a 4.0 all year long, and my little boy carter finished kindergarten with flying colors... My boys make me so proud and happy. I love you both with all of my heart.....

I just want to take a minute and tell my mom she is the BEST.. I could not ask for a more loving mom and grandma for my kids.. This weekend we rode to richfield to spend the weekend with Joel mom for mother day. Saturday morning Joel and his dad took a trip fishing at otter while his mom and i took carter to the park. Jace was able to spend a couple of days with his dad family. That evening Spencer and his family show up we BBQ hot hogs and Jeanette made her wonderful potatoes salad. The kids had a ball staying up late and all getting together playing. Sunday morning Shelly and her family arrived and we all went to church with his mom.. After church let me just tell you. THE GUYS made us dinner.. We had to take alot of pictures so non of us would forget... They did great.. It tasted so GOOD... after dinner we played games and had a great time. Thanks Jeanette for being a great example to my kids and taking the time to play with them. And most of all for raising my husband to be such a great husband and father.. Saturday our family, trav and meg, mom and dad rode to the cabin for the day for a picnic. I love going there. We played games and watch the horse race and just had a relaxing day. That night we headed out to moms to celebrate the blessing of Nancy. We hung out and played games Saturday night. Sunday morning mom and i help Jess prepare food for the dinner after. The boys did great this week. We played against rolling rubber. Monday night was not so great for the boys we took our first loss 9 to 12.. Wed. Night they rocked we beat them 13 to 5.. The season has started. Jace is still playing for the Elks city league. So far the games have gone great. We played the first one last Saturday and won 12 to 2. Jace was 1 point out of those twelve.. He stuck one of his hits in the air and it was caught and was walked on his second time around.. Monday night we played against the lions and won that game 12 to 2. In that game Jace also was one of the scoring points. He fit 2 great hits.. Great job dude... I am proud of you. We alos was able to watch jace get set apart as a deacon in church.. I loved watching him pass the sacrament even though it made me feel a little old.. Keep up the great work jace. We love you alot. Pictures will soon be coming... The First Camping trip of the year.. EASTER

Thursday morning Jace and I haded out to my mom after the trailer was loaded. The weather was not good at all. Cedar City ended up getting 11 inches of snow wed night and Thursday. But you know us with the kids crying that they wanted to go camping, trav saying he was going camping rather anyone else came. We were all headed out Friday afternoon.. We camped out past modena. We had great weather there was no snow and the wind at time was a little chilly. But no complaints out of anyone, They were just all glad we ended up going. After camp was set up we cooked a great dinner, and set around the camp fire.. Saturday morning the kids found to their surprise the Easter bunny had left them all a basket full of goodies. With the basket the kids each got a kite. I don't know if the kids or the dads had funner flying them . After breakfast we fixed lunches and headed out for the day looking for deer and elk sheds plus picnic. What a day. They all had luck but Joel, Trav,and I... That all that was talked about the rest of the day. We had a great time all riding to see who could find the biggest ones.. That night we fixed a great dinner and had a blast setting around the camp fire...Sunday morning we all loaded up and headed back to mom and dads for the first set of conference, while Joel cooked us a great breakfast. Thanks for the great time. I love getting together with family. The only thing missing was Annie being here...I love you all....

This weekend is one we all wont forget.. Friday afternoon Joel i and the boys were suppose to be heading up to SLC for the big hunting expo..But you guess it i couldn't go and miss out on the best thing that happens in life.. The new arrival of a new baby. So Joel took the boys and had a great time. Thanks joel for letting me enjoy the weekend... In the mean while we all waited for the hospital to call telling us they had a bed ready for jessie. She was getting started because jon has left town for 3 weeks for work and didn't want to miss it... Friday we did a little shopping and headed up to travs and megs to hang out. We all sat there waiting not being very patience..Well you guessed it we never got a call till the next morning at 6:30 to be there and ready to check in with in the hour.. Jon, Jess, Mom, and i headed down into town. We went to wal-mart, smiths even a yard sale and they finally called us to come.... The time was here. Jess got settled in her room. and we waited for the miricle to arrive. When nancy was born we all had a sign a relieve. She is the prettest little thing you can imagine. I think she looks alot like her older sister. I love hearing that cute little cry... Congrats to the family cant wait to spoil her rotten. We love you all.... We had jace a little birthday party early. My family came over to have a little BBQ on Saturday to celebrate jace and Joel birthday..WE had a great day. Jessie came over earlier than everyone else and we took a couple of pictures of her hoping it would put her in labor..No luck... Jace wants her to hold off and have the baby on his birthday on Monday the 15Th.. which she just might do.. That afternoon the rest of the family arrived. We started off the evening by playing the game we all cant stop playing which is farkle... This time mom was the lucky one to be the winner.. Ha Ha Jon i beat you.. While playing Joel cooked us the best steaks we also had cheesy potatoes, green salad and Jess had made a yummy fruit salad. We were all so full we could not move. We than sang Happy Birthday to jace and had a slice of a great ice cream cake from dairy queen.. He opened most of his presents that night. Thank you all for coming.

New in the home...

I made the mistake of taking carter to the new pet store in town... We can out of there with his new hamster named GUS.. I do have to thank my mom for this because he used his money that she had given him for holidays and such... But i couldn't say no remembering back to the day i brought one home ( without asking my mom) and she didn't get mad... It has been the neighborhood toy. The only lucky person that has gotten bitten is jace. Carter loves his Gus.. A funny story carter didn't know they had little pouches in their month. He came running in and said mom my hamster is going to die. He had a whole hamster snack in that pouch and they are not little. I told he just go put him back into his cage and he will bury it. and explained to him what had happened.. He ugly but carter loves him...

Valentines Weekend.....

This weekend was great. Saturday morning carter and I headed to St.George to meet Jessie to watch mylee while her and Jon attended the temple. While we had her we did a little shopping and it made me think.. Wow i really am having another baby.. I had better get a little more Patience along with it... I told then if they we good we would go play at the park...They had fun at the park.. I couldn't get them to leave. While we were down there Jace and Joel were fishing at Quail lake. They had a wonderful time. That evening we meet up with Jessie and she took my kids to Enterprise with her while Joel and I went to dinner and the valentines movie with our great friends the clampets.. We had a great time but we always do. Sunday morning Joel and I went to breakfast since we had no kids. After while I went to my mom and we had a great dinner for valentines and dad birthday. I hope you all had a great valentines.. Thanks Joel for the great weekend... I love you boys..

Another Snow Trip

We gather the snowmobiles and boys up Saturday and headed to Enterprise to have a ball in the snow.. Joel couldn't believe how much more snow they had than us. My dad has been clearing the hill off near his house and made a great snow hill for kids to sled down.. Spencer and a couple of his kids meet us for the day. We grab mylee from Jessie to let her come play. We set her down in the sled half way the first little hill and she did great , so the second time we sent her down from the top of the first hill, NOT such a great idea she made it about half way and crash face planting into the snow. By the time got to her i was laughing hard she had snow everywhere and wanted to do it again... Carter had a couple of good wrecks to. Jace was the only one i think that didn't that day. We had fun.. After while we loaded the kids and rode back to my mom for a hot dog break... My kids always love riding the sleds and tubing....

I first off want to say sorry for not being on top of things. I have had tons of people mad because i am slacking on my blog.. First off i got a new camera from Joel for Christmas and could not figure out how to re size my pictures on my computer to fit the blog so sorry to all of you i have given a hard time to about being slacker on your blogs... But i have it figured out...Well if you all haven't heard from carter we are having a BABY..We are way excited and cant wait for the end of July to come.. We were going to try and hide it a little long but we made the mistake of telling carter.. He had everyone called, his primary and school class told before i knew it.. I am feeling great other than wow the older you get the harder it is.. Ha ha.. They are all hoping for a girl and I am hoping for a boy.. I have to tease both my sister because their girls are so sassy.. Heavens help us all if it is a girl... and Joel being her dad, my boy are already to spoiled... But any how sorry it has taken me so long. Hope all is well with everyone...

Snowmobile Outing....

First off it was cold as heck... We loaded up the snowmobile and headed up the mountain for the afternoon.. The Spencer joined us. We had a heck of the day. The kids love sledding, even though they crashed every once in a while.. We all fried us a hot dog on the grill for lunch and Jason had brought the best hot chocolate that just hit the spot... We headed off the mountain and had a great BBQ at the Spencer that night following that we played one heck of a card game. Congrats to Kailey for winning... Thanks for the fun and great day...

We invited a few friend and kids in the neighborhood. Malia, lili, cody, haley, kenni, and mymy. We watched carter open his present and them load up to have a fun evening at fun time inflatables... They all had a ball. On our way home we pulled into Arctic circle and grab they all an ice cream to go along with the sack of goodies we had for them all to tell them thanks for coming. That night as a family we went to carter favorite place to eat. PANDA EXPRESS i bet you all couldn't have guess that, and yes we had to set in the front window to watch the car go by... I hope you had a very special birthday and thank you for all the gifts he got...

The best day of the year. We told our kids we would wake up when ever they did and start opening presents. Joel and I thought we would be safe telling them that because in the past it has been like 8 am before they have gotten up.. Not this year they were up and ready to start at 6am.. They both hadn't asked for anything in particular so it was all a surprise. Jace got a DI lite, and Carter a 19 in flat screen TV with DVD.. They were pumped. I love to see how excited my kids get. There could be nothing better. we finished up opening up present and it came down to the last 2 under the tree they were for me.. Joel had gone and bought me the cannon rebel T1i.. I was so excited... I love him so much and love the things he does for me.. I couldn't have better... Well now that the excitement was over at the Sanderson home the kids were packed and ready to head to the cabin with the snowmobiles to spend the night. We love going up there. Dad and Mom , Trav and Meg were already up there. After while Jessie and Jon showed up. That night we opened presents and had a great Christmas dinner.. Of course we had to pull out the games. I had gotten farkle this year for Christmas. we had the funnest time playing that game. After that mom and dad had taught us a game they had learned on they cruise.. I have to say i was mad by the time that game was over. Jon, Joel, Dad, Mom, and i stayed up till 2:30 in the morning playing that game. I was not quiting till i was at least beating Jon. I have to explain he had me so mad, because he would not even think about the moves he would make , they were so stupid. And he still beat me... RRR but any how it was a great time. The next morning we had a great breakfast and took a couple of ride on the snowmobile. Back to the games we were. I had to beat Jon in something and i succeeded.. YES..... We all enjoyed ourselves but we missed one thing and that is having Annie up there with her little family, but maybe next year... I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and will have a happy new year....

Sorry i am a little behind but all you are just as busy as i am with Santa coming right around the corner.. Last weekend we headed out to enterprise for the big party. The kids couldn't wait. Carter said mom i sure hope it is the real Santa. I said how do you know what the real Santa looks like. Carter said i can tell if his beard is real hair, well by the end of the party he knew without a doubt that Santa was the real Santa... We had some of the best soups in a bowl , yummy salads, and great deserts... when eating was done we played games. Let me tell you by the look of these pictures you should have seen it in real life some of these men playing this game, it was a crack up... (AND I MADE EVERYONE PLAY). oh you better watch out cause as soon as the games were played here comes SANTA.. carter ran over to me and said mom without a doubt mom he is the real Santa... It was a great time. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas , we love you all...

Another Busy Weekend....

This weekend started out by grabbing my mom and dad and heading to the NFR for one last night this year.. We had an enjoyable time. My kids could hardly wait to see them, they have been gone now for a bout 2 weeks on their cruise. Carter cant stand that he can not talk to his grandma every day.. It drives him NUTS..... Saturday we just spent the day out in Enterprise.. That evening we headed back over to cedar to hit the light parade. We bundles up and enjoyed our hot chocolate as we watched the parade. Thanks mom for the goodies you brought all of us home from your vacation. The kids enjoy them... I hope everyone is enjoying the Christmas holidays

Carter lost his First Tooth

Not much has happened just trying to get ready for the holidays.. Jace and Carter went and stayed the weekend out at mylee house. While they were out there carter pulled his tooth that had been hanging on with a tread.. While they were staying the weekend Joel and I went and had a wonderful weekend in Vegas with our friends attending the NRF and also did a little Christmas shopping.. Mom and dad have been on their cruise now for almost 2 weeks we are all ready for them to come home we miss they alot. This is my favorite time of year even though it is so busy.. Hope you all are have a happy holiday...

Joel, Carter, and I headed out for Richfield. While Jace had an enjoyable time with Dave in Mesquite NV.. Thursday morning Joel and his dad went fishing.. They had no luck maybe because it was a little cold outside..That afternon we all gather at the town hall for our Turkey Feast.. Shelly, Russ and Family, Pam and Brady and family, Joel, Carter and I. and Joel Parents, We also had joined Joel aunt Peggy family to.. WOW it was good...... Exspecially the pies... Later that day we just relaxed and enjoyed left overs all day.. I was going to get up and fight the sales with Shelly at 4:00a.m. but i just couldn't get my but out of bed. Friday we all loaded up and went out on a Christmas tree hunt. We ended at a place called hunters flat. It was very cold.. on our way we seen deer and a couple of bull elk. That made the trip.. We headed off the mountain with 2 pretty tree for Shelly, and Joel parents. That night all the kids helped grandma decorate the tree.( boy am i glad they didn't help me. WOW....) Saturday Joel and his dad had to try one more time. But still no luck not even a bit.. We hung out for the day and them ventured back home to it snowing like crazy...Thanks for the great food and the relaxing time we all enjoyed.... We Love you all..
